The Pythians

The Pythians  is an online portal for Art, Photography, Poetry and Video produced by Pythians;  women of maturity.  

Launched in the spring of 2016 by Tova Beck-Friedman, The Pythians is a platform that showcases women artists’ work.  The Pythia, who was known as the Oracle of Delphi; was celebrated as the priestess of the Temple of Apollo.  One of the fundamental requirements for the Pythia position was that the woman serving as the Pythia, would be at least 50 years of age.

We at The Pythians are always interested in discovering new works of Art, Photography, Sculpture, Painting, Collage, Drawing, Architecture, Animation, Documentaries, Poetry, Prose and The Moving Image (video).  We invite women 50 years of age and older to submit their work.
