Florence Weisz Sensuous Stripes

Florence Weisz works in collage as her primary medium. Over the years she has explored many visual ideas seeking distinctive materials and innovative ways to express them. The “Sensuous Stripes” series stems from her fascination with rigid patterns of parallel lines and how they become undulating and sensual when draped on the human body. These stripe collages have evolved from 2-D abstractions combined with her signature alcohol ink papers into 3-D compositions and site-specific installations.

Interesting sinuousness of the stripes. Especially Like the humorous double fish piece for your father. Best to you in 2018 and on from sara and arie

  2. Wonderful work, Florence! I especially like the endless changes and permutations of the stripes series. The wall sculptures are taking on a life of their own and your creative imagination knows no bounds! I like seeing your work here…what a great public forum that’s well-deserved.
